Richelle's Eulogy-told by my future daughter: for an assignment, Telling of Goal's

"My mother was an exceptional woman. With every person she met she would alway's try to make their lives easier in some way, and learn more about them. She made them feal absoulutly comfortable in with her and would in a matter of minutes become very good friends. I remember when I was little, she told me the story of how she came to pick my name and my siblings. She was in math class in the ninth grade and was supposed to be taking a test, but got out the book of mormon instead and started to read. She felt that she wanted her childen to have names that would alway's remind them of the person they could become or a person the can look up to consanlty. So she started jotting down names and then wrote them in her journal. she kept them for when she would find my dad and have us. She still has that entry of the names she choose and I'll read the part were it says the names:
  • Joseph Moroni
  • Jacob Nephi
  • Hyrum Samuel
  • Rebecca Emma
  • Noel Ruth
  • Christa Rachel
  • Mariah Esther
I talked with my Mom's sister Mariah and asked her to come up and share a few memorys she has of my mom. Aunt mariah do you mind coming up here?"  (Mariah start's speaking)

"Richelle brought love into the home and she had a great relashonship with all her sibling's. She always spoke with patience and love even if we were driving her insane...She was always on time for school. and would never turn in assignment's a second late. She was a faithful journal writer, and never missed a day. she would tell us 'read your scriptures and write in your Journal and pray and you will be the most happiest person on earth!'  She would often invite the four of us sibligs for a 'pee' party were we would play games together and laugh untill we literally almost had an accident." she chuckels, " Oh, how I miss her" weeping silently she sits back down in her seat.

"Thank you aunt Mariah. We all know of Mom's book's the first one she wrote was in the her second semester of ninth grade. She started it in her creative writing class and published it by the end of the year, and it was a number one seller! know we have a whole library filled with her creative and inspirational novels. Mom showed me by example in the way's she talked with people and handled stress I'm so greatful for her and all she did for me. She was a wonderful mother and I look forward to the day I can see her again.

  1. Richelle-
These and your other posts are all fun and clever. :) Good job.
However, you do need to be more thorough- add more detail, examples, and information to really SHED LIGHT on the topic. Your eulogy can be of you as an old woman and show ALL the things in your life you wanted to do. (same with the letter about your friends).
